Nikki began her career as a stylist in 2002 when she attended Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty followed by participating in a 10-month apprenticeship with a master color artist.

In August of 2008, Nikki and her mom, Valerie, opened a salon that reflected both their styles!  She works closely with L'oreal Professionnel as the in-salon educator.  She educates The Loft Salon team on newly developed products.  Nikki and Valerie share a passion for education and make it a point to have regular trainings in salon and out of the salon.  They have attended numerous classes for salon business as well as technique and skill (which is usually lost on Val since she doesn't do hair herself!). 

Nikki has had curly hair her whole life and loves teaching curly girls how to manage and style thier hair.  She can relate to so many curly girl's childhood traumas of having to manage (or mis-manage, lol) their curly hair!  

When she is not working, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family (Fiance, Jeff and daughter, Chloe) and her dog and cat!
